Managing wallets
Create wallets to track your emergency cash reserves.
What are wallets?
Wallets represent physical locations where you store emergency funds — a home safe, a go-bag, a buried cache, etc. Each wallet tracks its contents by denomination.
Creating a wallet
Set up a new wallet to track cash reserves:
- 1Open Finances from the home screen
- 2Tap the + button
- 3Enter a name and optional description
- 4Choose an icon and color
- 5Tap Create
Adding entries
Inside a wallet, you can add entries for different asset types: bills, coins, gold, silver, or other. For each entry, specify the currency, denomination breakdown, and quantity.
Financial summary
The Finances screen shows your total reserves across all wallets, your base currency, and how many months of expenses your reserves cover (based on your configured monthly expenses).
Tip
- Set your monthly expenses in Finance Settings so the app can estimate your financial runway.
